Sherston CE Primary School

Sherston Church of England Primary School was established in 1845. In 2004/2005 Debby Liddle joined a trip to build water towers for a village community in a remote Maasai community not far from Sherston Musul. On return Sherston School took a more active role in fund raising and maintaining links with the Maasai community. This culminated with the opening of the new School in the UK by Erick Ole Kasana. Several subsequent trips were made to build other projects including a new school building funded by Nimbus.

Since then Sherston CE Primary School has established a permanent link with the school in the Musul community. This cullminated in the Deputy Head visiting Musul and helping with constructing additional classrooms.

Since these early days Sherston CE has maintained close links with Musul in Kenya culminating in the development of this web site in 2008 by Friends of Sherston Musul School.

The school continues to help Sherston Musul school by raising funds through school fundraising events.
